Saints quarterback Jameis Winston did not practice for a second straight day in London as the team gets ready for their game against the Vikings. Coach Dennis Allen said yesterday that the plan was for Winston to practice today. Winston has been dealing with a bad back, but told reporters he also has several other injuries…

A-L-dot-com is reporting that Auburn quarterback T-J Finley will not start against his former team when the Tigers visit the Plains. Finley also missed last Saturday’s overtime win over Missouri because of an injury to his throwing shoulder. Robby Ashford is expected to make his second consecutive start.

The Ragin Cajuns are getting ready for their homecoming game this Saturday against South Alabama. U-L Lafayette is looking to snap a two-game losing streak. Last Saturday, the Cajuns blew a ten-point fourth-quarter lead and lost to in-state rival U-L-M. Coach Michael Desormeaux says they made too many mistakes against the Warhawks

Week five of the high school season kicks-off tonight. In Monroe, Ouachita Christian faces Ouachita Parish. It’s the first time the two schools have played each other in football. Tonight is the Squirrel Bowl as Buckeye battles Grant.
