The State Fire Marshal is asking Louisiana residents not to do any open burning this week because of dry, low humidity and breezy conditions. A red flag warning is out for southeast Louisiana and the Delta parishes for today, but State Fire Marshal spokesperson Ashley Rodrigue says this week a man in Bienville Parish died as a result of open burning on his property…

Baton Rouge businesses are distributing “Live Like Allie” bracelets in memory of Allie Rice, who was fatally shot in her vehicle near downtown Baton Rouge on September 16th. Allie’s aunt and godmother Susie Rice says the support from the community is amazing and the bracelets are another sign the public is committed to finding her killer…
