The vehicle of sixth-grade teacher Michelle Reynolds who was reported missing in the Houston-area has been found in New Orleans. Sergeant Danny Lares, with the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office in Texas would not comment on the condition or location of the vehicle but says they are seeking the public’s assistance in the search for the 48-year-old mother of three…

LSU women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey gave a no comment when asked at a press conference about her former player Brittany Griner, who is serving a nine-year prison sentence in Russia for drug possession. Mulkey hasn’t said much about Griner’s ordeal, but had this to say on Tiger Rag Radio earlier this year

The National Weather Service issues a Red Flag warning for southeast Louisiana due to extremely dry conditions. State Fire Marshal’s Office spokesperson Ashley Rodrigue says it’s best to delay any outdoor burns but if you can’t keep them at least 75 feet from any structures, wet the area around the burn pile and don’t have any flammable liquids nearby.

According to Trust for America’s Health Louisiana ranked 7th in the nation for adult obesity. President and CEO of the trust, Nadine Garcia (car-c-ah) says it’s not only adults with obesity concerns, 22-percent of Louisiana children are also considered obese. She says it’s a complex issue and has several contributing factors for example genetics, societal issues, and economics.
