LSU and New Mexico will meet for the first time on the football field this Saturday, and getting sophomore wideout Jack Bech is a goal for the Tigers. The Lafayette native only has two catches in three games, after leading the team in receptions with 43 catches for 489 yards and three touchdowns last season.

U-L Lafayette’s nation-leading 15-game win streak came to an end last weekend in a loss to Rice, but coach Michael Desormeaux is glad the pressure has been taken off his team and is looking forward to bouncing back this weekend against conference rival ULM. He says ULM has had to face Texas and Alabama so far and look better on film than their record shows…:
