The COVID pandemic may have calmed down for most of us, but for seniors in nursing homes, it’s still all too real. In a four week period between mid-July to mid-August, 46 elderly residents died from COVID-related symptoms. Andrew Muhl is director of advocacy for AARP Louisiana.
