The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s office has charged two individuals with second-degree murder in the death of a one-year-old child. Over the weekend, deputies responded to a home and found the toddler unresponsive. The child died at a local hospital a short time later. 29-year-old Dillon Cormier and 23-year-old Deziree Sutton were booked into the parish jail.
