Cops continue to search for the gunman who fatally shot an LSU student multiple times in her vehicle as she was stopped at a railroad crossing near downtown Baton Rouge early Friday morning. 21-year-old Allison Rice was from Ascension Parish.

New data is out on the number of fatalities that occurred in Louisiana in 2021 and it’s not good. According to the LSU Center for Analytics and Research in Transportation, 927 people were killed in 2021 on Louisiana roads, that’s a 17-percent increase over the prioer year and the most since 2007.
