Now that Myles Brennan is out of the picture for the starting quarterback battle at LSU, who will be the starter when the Tigers kick off the season against Florida State on September 4th in the Superdome. Brennan announced yesterday he’s leaving LSU and the game of football.

The Saints are in Green Bay participating in a joint practice with the Packers. Quarterback Jameis Winston was padded up, a good sign that he’s getting over a sprained foot that forced him to miss the preseason opener. New Orleans and Green Bay play preseason game number two on Friday night at Lambeau Field.

Scott McDonald is leaving his post as ULM athletic director on September 1st after leading the Warhawk athletic department since 2019. McDonald will return to the private sector and believes this is a good time with the university close to completing a comprehensive athletic strategic plan…

Currently, there are over six-million dollars in improvements to facilities that either have been completed or in the beginning stages of construction. It was also his decision to hire football coach Terry Bowden, who is set to begin his second season.
