The A-P preseason Top 25 poll is out and for the first time since 2000, LSU is not ranked. Alabama is ranked number one, followed by Ohio State, Georgia, Clemson and Notre Dame.

Currently, there are over six-million dollars in improvements to facilities that either have been completed or in the beginning stages of construction. McDonald also hired football coach Terry Bowden and this past spring, ULM student-athletes compiled a 3.36 GPA.
