LSU will play Kennesaw State on Friday night at 6 PM in Hattiesburg. The Owls are 35-26 and won the Atlantic Sun conference tournament.

Southern Miss will kick off the regional by hosting Army at 1 PM. The winner of the Hattiesburg Regional will meet the winner of the Miami Regional, which is comprised of Miami, Arizona, Ole Miss, and Canisius in a Super Regional series.

Louisiana Tech is making back-to-back Regional appearances for the first time since 1986-87 as the Bulldogs are heading to the Austin Regional. Tech will face Dallas Baptist at 6:30 on Friday night. The Patriots beat the Diamond Dogs in Ruston seven to four on March 29th. Bulldogs Coach Lane Burroughs expects another tough battle this weekend…

The Ragin’ Cajuns will head west to College Station, as they return to the NCAAs for the first time in six seasons after winning the Sun Belt tournament title. Coach Matt Deggs says this is another big step to rebuilding the program.

UL-Lafayette takes on TCU Friday at 7 pm. And Southeastern Louisiana is heading to the Auburn Regional.
