The LSU softball team will take on SEC rival Auburn Thursday afternoon in Oklahoma City in the opening round of the College World Series. It’s the fourth ever WCWS appearance for the LSU Softball team. Head Coach Beth Torina says since the fall her team has been on a mission to get to this point….

New Louisiana Tech men’s basketball coach Eric Konkol has added another assistant coach to his staff. Matt McMahon is heading to Ruston after spending the previous four seasons as an assistant at Murray State. Last season the Racers went 29-and-6. He joins former George Mason star Tony Skinn as an assistant on Konkol’s staff.
