Authorities say a girl missing from Texas was found in Bossier City and both the suspected kidnapper and an FBI agent were shot during her recovery. The wounded agent is said to be alive and being treated for non-life threatening wounds. The man authorities are saying was holding the 9-year-old girl, 24-year-old Jesse Williams — is dead.

The National Weather Service says there is another strong line of thunderstorms moving through the state where winds in excess of 40 miles per hour are possible as well as torrential rainfall which could cause localized flooding especially in southeast Louisiana. Authorities remind motorists to never drive through flooded roadways.

An LSU football player who saw field time in just one game last season is under arrest for felony domestic abuse battery by strangulation. East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks says 22-year-old Jeveonte Domond is accused of grabbing his fiance by the neck, lifting her up then dropping her. She says he claims the woman pulled a knife on him…:

Hicks says the woman’s injuries were consistent with her story and there was also a witness who corroborated the claim against Domond who is suspended from the team according to LSU officials.
