A Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement Division agent is hospitalized in serious condition after he was shot in the back in the line of duty. L-D-W-F spokesperson Adam Einck says 32-year-old Sergeant Scott Bullitt of Jonesboro was shot while performing a traffic stop in Ouachita Parish. Einck says Sergeant Bullitt has been an LDWF agent for over five years and he’s married with no kids…

29-year-old Luke Jarrod Hust has been charged with two counts of attempted 1st-degree murder in the incident.

Congressman John Fleming’s office says the EPA has decided to move forward with plans to dispose 15-million pounds of M6 propellant at Camp Minden in Webster Parish, despite the agency’s concerns about an additional eight million dollars in oversight costs. Fleming says the EPA has not provided any documentation on why this additional money is needed…

State Police say an officer involved shooting in Ouachita Parish has left a man suspected of killing his mother injured. When authorities arrived to the scene, they found 32-year-old John Henderson of Monroe brandishing an axe. Henderson approached the officers in an aggressive manner and, after not complying with the cops commands, was shot in the lower torso. He was treated at a local hospital. Charges against Henderson are pending.
