Just days after Saints running back Alvin Kamara was arrested for felony battery, two other men have been charged in connection with the beating of a man in Las Vegas over Pro Bowl Weekend. Report indicate another arrest warrant has been issued — this one for Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Chris Lammons. The felony battery charges against Kamara could mean one to five years in prison if convicted.

The LSU men’s basketball team rolled over the Georgia Bulldogs last night in the PMAC on Dale Brown Court 84-65 for the Tigers third straight win. LSU had a trio of players in double figures led by Tari Eason who finished with 21 points, Brandon Murray had 15 points and Darius Days also added 15. The Tigers travel to face the Gamecocks Saturday.

The NFL Network is reporting Coach Dennis Allen is keeping Pete Carmichael as offensive coordinator on the new Saints head coach staff. Carmichael has been with the Saints since 2006 and OC since 2009.

Former LSU Tiger Cam Thomas went off last night for the Nets in Brooklyn’s 111-106 victory over the New York Knicks. The rookie led Brooklyn back from a 28-point deficit with 16 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter.

Ragin’ Cajuns men’s basketball coach Bob Marlin is under heavy fire. The Cajuns have lost three games in a row and eight times in their last 10, sitting in ninth place in the Sun Belt standings. Marlin still believes his team has time to turn things around.

LSU Baseball has picked Blake Money to pitch opening day Friday. Coach Jay Johnson made the announcement yesterday ahead of the three game set versus the university of Maine this weekend.
