Shareef O’ Neal played in his first game since last February and had four points, four rebounds, and blocked a shot as Tari Eason and Efton Reid combined for only eight points because of foul trouble.

Tonight the Ragin Cajuns will have a tough road game at U-T Arlington. The Cajuns are 3-0 in league play, while the Mavericks are 3-and-1. ULM is at Texas State. Louisiana Tech hosts Southern Miss to begin a home-and-home series. In the NBA, the Pels host the Clippers.

LSU received two commitments this week from players in the transfer portal, Arkansas safety Joe Foucha and Ragin Cajuns cornerback Mekhi Gardner. Both players will have a chance to start in 2022 as the Tigers have a depleted secondary. The Atheltic’s Brody Miller says there’s a real possibility LSU will sign over a dozen transfers…

Former Ouachita High School head coach John Carr is returning to ULM to serve as the Warhawks wide receivers coach. He spent the last three seasons as an assistant head coach and inside receivers coach at Troy. Carr spent the 2018 season as the wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator at ULM. The Warhawks went 6-and-6 that season.
