An emotional Kevin Faulk met with reporters to talk about his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. It’s been a difficult few months for LSU’s all-time leading rusher as the Carencro native continues to grieve the death of his 19-year-old daughter, who died unexpectedly in September. In December, Faulk learned he will not be part of LSU’s new coaching staff. LSU has added two defensive backs through the transfer portal. Arkansas safety Joe Foucha, a New Orleans native who played at McDonough 35, and Ragin Cajuns cornerback Mekhi Garner, who was an All-Sun Belt Conference honorable mention this past season.
