Payton was not at practice yesterday as he’s feeling ill, but has not tested positive for COVID. Defensive end Cam Jordan and running back Mark Ingram remain away from the team after testing positive for the virus last week.

It’s been a tough season for the Pelicans, but the highlight play of the year for the Pels occurred last night when guard Devonte Graham made a 61-foot bank shot at the buzzer to give New Orleans a 113 to 110 win against Oklahoma City. New Orleans is 9-and-21 on the season.
