Southern University has a new head football coach. The school announced Monday it has hired Eric Dooley, a former longtime assistant for the Jags who just led Prairie View to a SWAC championship. He will be formally introduced today.

LSU legend Glenn Dorsey will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame today. A native of Gonzales, Dorsey is the most decorated defensive player in school history and becomes LSU’s 10th player to the Hall.
