Early voting for the December 11th election begins today. 38 of the state’s 64 parishes have a local race or issue on their ballot. There’s a run-off election for sheriff in Orleans and voters in St. Tammany will vote on whether a casino can re-locate to Slidell. In Ouachita Parish, Richwood Mayor Gerald Brown is facing a recall effort.
