The Saints will look to snap a two game losing streak when they visit Philadelphia on Sunday. Multi-game losing streaks are rare for the Saints under head coach Sean Payton. Quarterback Quarterback Trevor Siemian says Coach Sean Payton sets the right tone in these situations…

Payton let it be known he’s not happy with the officiating this season when he appeared on the Dan Patrick Show today. The Saints were on the wrong end of a roughing the passer call that resulted in the Titans scoring a touchdown. Payton says the problems start at the top, not the individual crews, somehow they got to reduce the variables.

It’s a busy night of sports across the Bayou State. In Hammond, Southeastern Louisiana football will host Nicholls in the River Bell Classic. If the Lions win, they’ll clinch at least a share of the Southland Confernece title and most likely a home playoff game in the FCS playoffs. A win for the Colonels and they will end the year with a winning record for a fifth consecutive season.

LSU men’s basketball hosts McNeese. The Tigers are 3-and-0 on the season, while the Cowboys are 1-and-2. LSU has won 25 straight games against Louisiana schools. Also, NIcholls is at TC, while Southeastern visits SMU.

The Lady Tigers basketball team is at U-L Lafayette. The Lady Cajuns have not beaten LSU since 1974.

The second round of the high school football playoffs begins tonight. St James is at Madison Prep in a game featuring the last two champions in Class 3A. The winner could face top-seeded Sterlington in the quarterfinals next week. The Panthers are at Westlake tomorrow.

Tonight’s NFL game is Atlanta hosting the New England Patriots.
