Running back Mark Ingram is back with the Saints once again teamed up with Alvin Kamara in the backfield as New Orleans has worked out a trade with Houston to acquire the former first-round pick. Ingram’s first eight seasons in the NFL were with the Saints and he scored a franchise-record 50 touchdowns. In seven games with the Texans this season, Ingram is averaging just over three yards a carry and has one touchdown.

The Pelicans are 1-and-4 after losing to Houston 102-99 last night. Devonte Graham had 21 points to lead New Orleans, but the Hawks had 21 offensive rebounds which helped Atlanta get a road victory. New Orleans hosts Sacramento tomorrow.

Lake Charles College Prep has been banned from the high school football playoffs for violating LHSAA rules. New enrollment figures are out and it shows Edna Karr and Carencro moving up to 5A, Calvary Baptist, Oak Grove and Grand Lake moving up to Two-A. Class Four-A powerhouse Karr could play in the Catholic League.
