Saints kicker Will Lutz says he’ll miss the rest of the season after suffering a setback in his recovery from surgery on a core muscle. So it looks like rookie Brian Johnson is the team’s kicker going forward. And there’s a report offensive guard Andrus Peat could miss the rest of the year with a torn pectoral muscle.

The Pelicans are home tonight to host the Atlanta Hawks at 6:45.

ULM football coach Terry Bowden is making a run at Sun Belt Coach of the Year. The Sun Belt Conference is growing while Conference USA is getting smaller as Southern Miss has officially accepted an invitation to join the Sun Belt. The Golden Eagles will make the move to the Sun Belt no later than July 1st, 2023.
