Nothing official from Auburn, but LSU Coach Ed Orgeron said this week that he expects the War Eagles will start T-J Finley at quarterback tomorrow night as the SEC West rivals meet at 8 PM. Finley replaced a struggling Bo Nix last week to help Auburn get past Georgia State.

Finley started five games at quarterback for LSU last season, but announced in May he was transferring after finding himself third on the depth chart. Orgeron has nothing but respect for TJ….

Saints linebacker Demario Davis was back at practice today after missing yesterday for the birth of his daughter. Left tackle Terron Armstead and Center Erik McCoy have been ruled out for Sunday’s game because of injuries.

ULM and Louisiana Tech are both on the road facing ranked teams tomorrow. The Bulldogs are at 23rd ranked North Carolina State, who is coming off a double-overtime win over Clemson. They held the Tigers to 214 total yards.

The Warhawks take a two game winning streak to 16th ranked Coastal Carolina. The Chanticleers last loss in Sun Belt Play was to ULM in 2019.

The Ragin Cajuns are at undefeated South Alabama. The Jaguars have wins over Southern Miss, Bowling Green, and Alcorn State. South Al enters tomorrow’s game coming off a bye week. Coach Billy Napier says having an open week this early in the season can be good or bad…
