The US Government has been ruled liable for some of the Hurricane Katrina flooding from a 2005 lawsuit that blames a now-closed Mississippi River Gulf Outlet for much of the flooding in New Orleans. Federal Judge Susan Braden has set a hearing for next Wednesday in Washington.
