S-E-C Media Days in Birmingham received a charge of energy with the Houston Chronicle’s report that Texas and Oklahoma have reached out to the Southeastern Conference about joining the S-E-C. SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey would not confirm or deny the report. Texas and Oklahoma officials are also not saying anything. Texas A-and-M athletics director Ross Bjork says they want to be the only SEC program in Texas.
