The Louisiana Workforce Commission has launched the “Back to Work Louisiana” campaign, an effort aimed at putting people back to work as federally boosted unemployment benefits expire. LWC spokesperson Chris Fiore says the employment drive will culminate with a statewide in-person job fair on August 4th.

Senator Bill Cassidy was among 10 bipartisan senators that have reached an agreement on a one-point-two trillion-dollar infrastructure bill. Cassidy says the legislation could lead to new bridges in Louisiana.
