The Louisiana Republican Party is urging the public to contact their local legislators and push for a veto session to override Governor Edwards’ veto of a bill that would prohibit transgender athletes from participating in girls’ sports. And The governor could also veto a gun-rights bill and a transportation funding measure. House Speaker Clay Schexnayder believes they could override all vetoes during a four-day session mid-July…
