The LSU Baseball team will return to the practice field today after a long return trip home from Eugene, Oregon. The Tigers will leave again tomorrow for Knoxville, where they’ll play their super regional series against Tennessee starting on Saturday night. Game two will be Sunday at either 11 AM or 2 PM.
Meanwhile, the LSU men’s and women’s track and field teams begin compeitition today at the NCAA outdoor championships in Eugene, Oregon. Both the men and women are ranked number one, the ladies have been ranked number one all season long.
Hunting and fishing license fees are set to go up next year as a result of legislation heading to the governor’s desk. The cost of a basic fishing license will increase from $9.50 to 17-dollars, but Louisiana Department of Wildlife and fisheries Undersecretary Bryan McClinton says instead of your fishing license expiring on June 30th of every year…

The Saints announced they’ve signed their 2021 draft class and New Orleans reportedly restructured cornerback Marshon Lattimore’s contract. Lattimore is entering the final year of his rookie contract and back in March he was arrested in Cleveland and charged with a fourth-degree felony for receiving a stolen handgun. Lattimore did not want to speak about either topic when he met with reporters yesterday.
