McNeese is representing the city of Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana which has been through so much since Hurricane Laura nearly flattened the region. The Cowboys will take on TCU at 6 PM tonight.

Southern is in the NCAA Tournament after losing seven in a row in April, but they beat Jackson State, who was undefeated in SWAC play to reach a regional under first-year coach Chris Crenshaw. The Jags take on Texas at 1 PM today.

LSU hitting coach Eddie Smith has found a new job as he’s been named the new head coach at Utah Valley. He takes over a program that won just ten games this past season.

LSU will reportedly hire Arkansas offensive line coach Brad Davis as its new o-line coach. Davis is from Baton Rouge and 2020 was his first season in Fayetteville. Previously, he was the offensive line coach at Missouri for two years.
