The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating the fatal shooting of a woman who was found dead this morning inside an apartment on Houma Boulevard. The sheriff says there is no suspect or motive available at this time. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s office says human remains were discovered in a wooded area of Golden Meadow just north of Yankee canal. An autopsy is scheduled.
