And a 12-year-old girl in New Orleans was killed in a drive-by shooting in New Orleans on Sunday night in the Lower Ninth Ward.

But critics say the temporary sales tax of .45-percent that’s set to expire in mid-2025 should roll off the books because lawmakers promised that would be the result when approved in 2018.
The ‘Shot for a Shot’ month-long campaign kicks off today in Louisiana.
