The loss drops LSU’s record to 32-20 as they head into the final SEC series of the year at Texas A-and-M. The Tigers need one win to clinch a spot in the SEC Tournament. Both D-1 Baseball and Baseball America have LSU as one of the last four teams making the NCAA Tournament.

D1 Baseball reports the NCAA is expected to allow 100-percent capacity at baseball and softball regionals. Big news for LSU who is hosting a softball regional this weekend and La Tech could be a Baseball regional ost.

The Louisiana House approves legislation to increase certain hunting and fishing license fees, raising millions of dollars for the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. Prairieville Representative Tony Bacala says a fee hike is necessary because LDWF can no longer rely on a pot of money from the Conversation Fund

If the Senate approves Bacala’s bill, half of the rate increases would start on June 1, 2022, the remaining half would kick in two years later.
