The NCAA has named Louisiana Tech as one 20 possible programs to host an NCAA Regional. 16 teams will host regional round games during the first weekend in June and those sites will be announced on May 30th. Tonight, Tech begins a four-game series against UTSA.

The Ragin Cajuns begin a three-game series versus Texas-Arlington tonight, while ULM is at 6th ranked TCU.

Baton Rouge high school basketball sensation, LSU legend and WNBA superstar Seimone Augustus has retired at the age of 37. Augustus received national attention when she was in the sixth grade and the voice of the Lady Tigers Patrick Wright says Augustus became a household name during an All-American career at LSU

Augustus led LSU to a 121-19 record from 2002 to 2006, including three straight final four appearances. She went on to win four WNBA titles.

Tickfaw native Kim Mulkey is the only person in college basketball history to win a national championship as a head coach, assistant coach, and as a player. The former Lady Techster and current LSU head coach will be enshrined into the Naismith Hall of Fame on Saturday.
