Governor John Bel Edwards announces that Louisianans ages 12 and up can now receive Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine as a result of the CDC approving the use of the vaccine in 12 to 15 year-olds. There are about 15-hundred locations in Louisiana that offer the COVID vaccine.

Panic gasoline buying is a real issue on the East Coast because of the shutdown of the Colonial Pipeline, which delivers gasoline and other fuels from Gulf Coast refineries to states like Georgia, Virginia, and South and North Carolina. Photos of long lines at gas stations and people pumping gasoline in whatever kind of container they can get their hands on are circulating on social media. Louisiana Oil Marketers and Convenience Store Association Director Natalie Isaacks says a photo of a woman putting gas in an open container is especially concerning.
