LSU Quarterback TJ Finley has reportedly entered the transfer portal.  Finley started five games for the Tigers as a freshman last season, throwing for 941 yards with 5 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.  Finley struggled in the spring game and appeared to be behind Max Johnson and Myles Brennan on the depth chart heading into fall camp.

Ragin Cajuns guard Devin Butts has entered his name into the transfer portal.  Butts appeared in 24 games for the Cajuns last season as a freshman, with two starts.  The 6’5 guard averaged 6.4 points per game and shot 37 percent from the field last year.

Also, LSU big-man Josh Gray has entered the transfer portal.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram will miss Friday’s game against the Philadelphia 76er’s due to a left low ankle sprain that he suffered against Golden State on Tuesday.  Ingram is averaging 23.8 points per game this season.  Tipoff for the game is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The LSU Board of Supervisors meets today to approve new women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey’s contract. She is set to make 2.5 million dollars next season and 3.3 million by 2029.

The LSU baseball team begins a series tonight at Auburn in need of victories in order to make the SEC and NCAA tournaments.  LSU is still looking for a third-weekend starter since Jaden Hill suffered his season-ending injury.  Ma’Khail Hilliard got the start this past weekend and performed well.  Hilliard explained his mindset when he knows he’ll start.

Tonight’s game against Auburn will begin at 6:30. Junior right-hander Landon Marceaux will get the start on the mound for the Tigers.

Last night the Southeastern Louisiana baseball team knocked off 20th ranked Southern Miss five to three. Seven Lions pitchers combined for the win and held the Golden Eagles to three hits.

ULM lost to Jackson State four to two. The Warhawks begin a Sun Belt series tomorrow as they host U-T Arlington.
