The rumors are true and it’s finally official.  Former Baylor women’s basketball coach and Louisiana native Kim Mulkey is leaving Waco and heading to Baton Rouge to become the next Lady Tigers coach.  Mulkey will replace Nikki Fargas, who recently stepped down as head coach to take a job in the WNBA.  Mulkey comes to LSU as one of the best women’s basketball coaches in the country, winning three national titles with the Lady Bears.

LSU baseball has suffered a lot of tough losses this season, but Saturday’s implosion tops them all. The Tigers led by eight runs in the bottom of the eighth and there were two outs in the inning.
