The legendary voice of the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Dave Nitz announced today that he will only call Bulldog baseball games starting with the next athletic season. Nitz just completed 47 years behind the mic for Tech football and basketball games.

After opting out of the 2020 football season halfway through and entering the transfer portal, former LSU tight end Arik Gilbert was supposedly in Baton Rouge last week for a visit after initially committing to Florida. Coach Ed Orgeron confirmed the meeting and said it went well.
