Starting today all Louisianans 16 and older regardless of occupation or health status are eligible to receive the COVID 19 vaccine and 5th District Congresswoman-Elect Julia Letlow made a personal appeal to those on the fence about getting their shot. Police are on the lookout for a damaged Ram truck that is believed to have been involved with a fatal hit and run with a bicyclist just outside Acadian Medical Center in St. Landry Parish. State Police Trooper Thomas Gossen urges anyone with information about this crash to contact their local authorities.
