The state of Louisiana will make COVID vaccines available to all Louisiana residents 16 and older starting on Monday. It’s another positive development in the state’s battle against the coronavirus. But State Health Officer Dr. Joe Kanter says he’s worried the state’s progress in fighting the spread of COVID-19 has stalled. Matt Doyle has the story.

The state department of education announces Louisiana schools rank seventh for in-person instruction according to the national return to learn tracker.

In response to mishandling of previous sexual misconduct cases at LSU, the Board of Regents wants to make sure every college and university in Louisiana has a system in place to properly respond to claims of sexual abuse or sexual harassment. Higher Education Commissioner Kim Hunter Reed has sent a letter to college governing board leaders.

A former middle school principal has been arrested after she allegedly confessed to having sex with a teenage boy. Captain Brennan Matherne, with the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, says 44-year-old Ashleigh Landry of Raceland has been charged with Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile…
