The election is tomorrow for two vacant U-S House seats in Louisiana, one for the second district, which was previously held by Democrat Cedric Richmond and the fifth district where Luke Letlow was set to be the Congressman before he died from the coronavirus. The state and federal tax filing deadline has been extended to June 15th in Louisiana for all individuals and businesses. Postlethwaite and Netterville Associate Tax Director Kathryn Pittman says this is because of the federal disaster that was approved for Louisiana as a result of last month’s winter storms.
