Attorney General Jeff Landry sends a letter to staff warning against sexual harassment following a sexual harassment scandal that led to the resignation of one of his top aides. Jeff Palermo has the story.

The Louisiana Workforce Commission says its website is down and the state agency hopes the site will be operational by noon Wednesday. L-W-C Secretary Ava Dejoe says the site had to be taken down so that the I-T staff can program the site for new federal stimulus payments as part of the President’s American Rescue Plan.

Louisiana will receive $2.6 billion for schools from the latest COVID relief bill.  A large portion of the funding is to be dedicated to recovery learning so students can stay on grade level. State Education Superintendent Cade Brumley is asking school systems to reimagine summer school as more of a summer camp experience.

Parts of Louisiana could be in for a bumpy ride Wednesday. The storm prediction center has northwest and central parts of the state under an enhanced risk of severe weather which means a greater concentration of organized severe thunderstorms.  The northeast corner of the state is under a moderate risk of widespread severe weather with several tornadoes and/or numerous severe thunderstorms, some of which may be intense in the forecast Wednesday.
