The Biden COVID recovery bill will send 2.6 billion dollars in funding to Louisiana public schools. State Education Superintendent Cade Brumley says a portion of that funding will go towards catching up students who fell behind during the pandemic and rebuild infrastructure for future educational growth.
Approximately 25-percent of students in Louisiana do not have access to the internet in their homes.
