An official report has been released that details how LSU handled allegations of sexual and domestic assault.  The report gives 18 recommendations on improving LSU’s Title 9 practices and LSU interim president Thomas Galligan says the school plans to act on all recommendations and that includes beefing up the Title 9 Office.

Deputy Athletic Director Verge Ausberry received a 30-day suspension while senior associate AD Miriam Segar received 21-days.

The LSU men’s basketball team looks to end the regular season tomorrow with a solid road win at Missouri.  Coach Will Wade says Mizzou is a big, physical team that includes six-foot-ten senior Jeremiah Tillmon.

The Sun Belt basketball tournament gets underway today in Pensacola.  ULM faces South Alabama today and the winner of that game will take on the Ragin Cajuns tomorrow.

The Saints have released 12-year veteran Thomas Morstead, the franchise’s best punter.  Morstead was an All-pro and Pro Bowler in 2012 and his average net punt is the second-best in the NFL since the statistic was first recorded in 1976.  He also made 15 playoff appearances and executed the onside kick to begin the second half of the team’s only Super Bowl victory.  Here’s Morstead…

The Ragin Cajuns baseball team will take on Houston Baptist in a three-game series this weekend.  Games one and two will be played tomorrow before wrapping up the series on Sunday.

The LSU baseball team will play Oral Roberts in a three-game series.  Game one is currently underway.  Game two will be played tomorrow afternoon with game three taking place on Sunday.
