The Pelicans lost a tough game in Milwaukee last night falling to the Bucks 129 to 125. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 38 points for Milwaukee and Khris Middleton added 21. Zion Williamson had 34 points and Brandon Ingram scored 23 for New Orleans. Pels Coach Stan Van Gundy is impressed the Bucks didn’t commit a foul in the fourth quarter and Williamson only shot five free throws.

Seattle Quarterback Russell Wilson is reportedly not demanding a trade, but his agent tells ESPN that if Wilson did get traded, he would like to play for either the Cowboys, Raiders, Bears, or Saints.

There will be a lot of college football to take in tomorrow, McNeese returns to Cowboy Stadium to host UIW, Nicholls takes on Lamar in Thibodaux, Southeastern Louisiana is at Sam Houston in a matchup of two teams ranked in the F-C-S Top 25. And Southern is at Alabama State tonight.

LSU baseball will host Youngstown State tonight at Alex Box Stadium. Tigers freshman right fielder Dylan Crews is off to a great start as he’s 8 for 18 at the plate with two home runs and three runs driven in. Crews had a chance to enter the MLB draft but chose to play college baseball at LSU…

Louisiana Tech will play baseball on campus for the first time since 2019 when they host a weekend series against Southern at the new J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park. Coach Lane Burroughs says his team is excited to play in the new ballpark.
