The LSU men’s basketball team heads into tonight’s game against Georgia playing some of its best basketball of the season. The Tigers have won three in a row and all of them have been double-digit victories. A win tonight would improve LSU’s record to 10-4 in the SEC and put them in sole possession of second place. Georgia has a 6-and-9 record.

The U-L Lafayette men’s basketball team’s victory over Texas-Arlington last night gave Coach Bob Marlin 118 wins in the Sun Belt, which is the most league history.

ULM beat Little Rock for a second straight night as they topped the Trojans 68-64.

Tomorrow, Northwestern State seeks its seventh straight win when they host Stephen F Austin. Southeastern Louisiana can clinch a spot in the Southland Tournament with a victory over McNeese. The Cowboys are one game out of the eighth spot for the postseason league tournament, with four games left.
