The 11th ranked LSU baseball team trailed by four runs last night to Louisiana Tech, but the Tigers scored 14 runs over the final three innings for a 16 to 7 win over the Bulldogs in Alex Box Stadium. Freshman left-hander Javen Coleman struck out seven in 3.2 innings out of the bullpen to get the win. For the Bulldogs, Taylor Young hit his third home run and Parker Bates had three hits. The Bulldogs are at U-L Lafayette tonight. LSU visits the Cajuns on Wednesday.

ULM men’s basketball defeated Little Rock for a second straight night last night as Warhawks flew past the Trojans 68-64. It was a one-point game at halftime. ULM coach Keith Richard on what he told his team at halftime…

U-L Lafayette’s Cedric Russell had 26 points as the Cajuns defeated Texas-Arlington 76-74. Russell was five of seven from three-point territory.

Northwestern State won its sixth straight as the Demons knocked off Houston Baptist 86-80. Freshman Carvell Teasett has a career-high 25 points to lead the way for Northwestern.

Southeastern Louisiana won at the buzzer to clip Corpus Christi 78-75. Byron Smith hit a three-pointer with less than a second left to win the game.
