Freshman left-hander Javen Coleman struck out seven in 3.2 innings out of the bullpen to get the win. For the Bulldogs, Taylor Young hit his third home run and Parker Bates had three hits. The Bulldogs are at U-L Lafayette tonight. LSU visits the Cajuns on Wednesday.

Northwestern State won its sixth straight as the Demons knocked off Houston Baptist 86-80. Freshman Carvell Teasett has a career-high 25 points to lead the way for Northwestern.

Southeastern Louisiana won at the buzzer to clip Corpus Christi 78-75. Byron Smith hit a three-pointer with less than a second left to win the game.
