A Shriever woman could be facing in life in prison for the shooting of her husband, as a grand jury upgraded the original manslaughter charge to 2nd-degree murder. Thirty-two year-old Crystal Welch is accused of the August 2013 fatal shooting of 35 year-old Chade Welch. Her defense attorney says the upgrade in charges will not affect his plan to claim self-defense.
