A Lafayette man has been charged for allegedly participating in last week’s riot at the U-S Capitol. 50-year-old Vaughn Gordon made his first court appearance yesterday as federal prosecutors have charged him with one count of knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building without lawful authority and one count of demonstrating in the Capitol buildings.
