Oh Shucks! The Saints announced that the team will be starting rookie quarterback Tyler Shough for Sunday’s game in Los Angeles against the Rams. The second-round pick took Spencer Rattler’s place in the third quarter of the 23-3 loss to Tampa Bay, where he passed for 128 yards and an interception. Shough says he has to do a better job moving forward.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that New Orleans is expected to trade at least one of their wide receivers at the deadline, which is on November 4th.
LSU senior cornerback Mansoor Delane has been named as a Semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award, which is awarded to the best defensive back in the country. Delane has 33 tackles, 7 pass breakups and an interception thus far.
