The Pet Overpopulation Advisory Council has raised over $24,000 to divide among 26 vet clinics and spay-neuter providers across the state. They’ve done so through the sale of special Animal Friendly license plates designed, manufactured, and sold by the DMV. The plates cost about $50 more than a standard one, but Council chairman Jeff Dorson says that surcharge goes directly to their cause.

Saints Legend Drew Brees will return to the Superdome Sunday with a much different view than he’s used to. Brees will be in the press box calling the FOX broadcast of the matchup between the Saints and Falcons.
